Despite it being obvious that cleaning out your computer generally has a positive outcome, we must also consider the potential problems before going ahead. We must consider that critical documents may be lost when using cleaning software, or by our own hand. Remember too that the removal of any excess files using either method, takes your time, especially if manual scanning is performed but automated cleanup tools can consume time. Generally these risks are not significant and the positives clearly override any of these negatives.
