manual path, meaning you select and delete items by hand, or secondly you can use
an automated tool to do the job. Manual cleaning means going through the folders
on the hard drive and then making a decision about which files and folders are no
longer useful, and getting rid of them in your own time. The manual method is more
thorough than automated methods but generally because there are many files and folders this can
take time and energy. There are also automated solutions that can determine information
which include file properties, last opened dates, etc. and internally build a table
of files and folders that can be safely deleted.
